Product Review: Matrix Biolage hydratherapie Conditioning Balm

I just want to share my hair background before I start to review this product. My hair is curly, it is a mixture between black and mexican hair. It has been relaxed twice, straightened, blow dried, and dyed multiple times. My hair also has minor breaks and spilt ends. Basically my hair has been through a lot and I just want to show you how well this product worked for me within the first application of ever using this conditioner by Matrix. This conditioner was given to me as a birthday gift, so I did not purchase it with my own money, but I do already love this product enough to share it with you.

This conditioner is absolutely wonderful! It is paraben free and dye free, safe for color treated hair, and safe to use daily. It has such a great smell to it, in my opinion it has a botanical kind of smell, a very clean and fresh smell. While applying this product to my hair after shampooing with the Matrix hydratherape shampoo, I combed through my hair and I then gently massaged my scalp. I left this on my hair for about 5 to 8 minutes while I washed my body. I rinsed out the conditioner and I began to pat my hair dry. Now this is the wonderful part about it: As I touched my hair, it felt amazingly soft and silky, the results were better than any other conditioning product I have used before and I only use top dollar hair conditioners. When I combed through my hair once more, the comb glided through my hair easily and there was very, very few naps.

After that, I chose to let my hair air dry, because it causes less damage to my hair. When my hair was done air drying, it felt very soft, manageable, and untangled! My hair personally was a little dry at the ends, so I lightly sprayed some shine spray on hair. Then my hair not only looked shiny and felt bouncy, it was beautiful! This conditioner works very well for my hair and I hope that if you are trying this product that it works for you too, because everyone's hair reacts differently to products as we know.
